CHAPTER 7: PART REPLACEMENT GUIDE

7.5 CONSOLE MAST REPLACEMENT

FIGURE A

1) Remove the console back as outlined in Section 7.1.

2) Remove the console as outlined in Section 7.2.

3) Remove the heart rate handlebars as outlined in Section 7.3.

4) Lift up the console mast boot and remove the 3 bolts on each side holding the console mast to the frame (Figure A).

5) Pull the console mast up and off the unit while simultaneously pulling the console cable wires out the bottom of the console mast (Figure B).

6) Reverse Steps 1-5 to install a new console mast.

7) Test the bike for function as outlined in Section 7.14.
